Today I incorporated some cross training into my fitness routine. I did a short 20 minute run (good thing, it was already pretty hot by the time I ran!) and then went to the YMCA and swam some laps. This is my first time swimming laps for the purpose of exercise. I must say, it felt great and was good to use some muscles that aren't normally used when I run and bike. I only swam for about 20 minutes, but I feel really content with my overall workout today. :)
After that, I did some flower-purusing. I really want to make my front porch/deck area beautiful during the summertime and was out looking for ideas. These hydrangas were beautiful!
