It's been really hot here in Western Michigan the past few days (high 90's and humid!) and I've been lazy. Not a good combination when my triathlon is only two weeks away!
I did a small brick workout earlier this week. It was a 12 mile bike ride and a 2.5 mile run. I really wanted to run further but I chose to workout at 1:30 in the afternoon when it was super hot...probably not the ideal training conditions! Today I spent 30 minutes in the pool. I need to focus on swimming more frequently. I haven't swam since last week and I could definitely tell. I wasn't as fast as I usually am (not that I'm like lightning or anything, haha) and I got tired quickly. Sigh. :(
I need to get out of this funk!
